PETALS OF PEACE
A fulfilling activity for festivals, classes & community groups
The 'Petals of Peace' project invites people of all ages to fold a paper lotus flower as a gesture of peace and friendship to children less fortunate. The lotus flowers are symbolic of 'Petals of Peace' blossoming within our local community and throughout the world.

FADU'S STORY
Care for persecuted children
The Petals of Peace initiative was inspired by the heart rending story of a Chinese - Australian girl named Fadu.
Fadu and her mother, Jane Dai overcame their painful family tragedy by bravely sharing their heartfelt story in the hope that other innocent children will no longer have to suffer like Fadu.
Fadu’s family practiced Falun Dafa in China, which is a set of exercises, meditation to improve one’s health and well being. In China they banned Falun Dafa practice in July 1999.

Fadu’s father who was an honest and kind man who followed the principles of Falun Dafa, Truth, Compassion and Tolerance, tragically lost his life for his beliefs in China. Fadu was only three years old.
WHAT IS FALUN GONG?
